1898, Brisbane
The Langfords story traces back to 1898 Brisbane, with humble beginnings trading goods like watches, jewellery and silverware around town. By 1901 our first store (pictured above) opened on Stanley Street, Woolloongabba, laying the foundation for several stores and generations to come, including an expasion to the Gold Coast by the 60s.
Pictured is Thomas Snr at his watchmaker's bench. His eye for quality saw Langfords become the first in Australia to import Seiko, and by 1967, we had made our first sale of the iconic Rolex Oyster. Nearly half a century later, we continue to uphold the standards you would expect of a dedicated Rolex boutique. As one of Queensland’s longest-running family jewellers, Langfords has established an internationally recognised reputation and an unprecedented selection of one of the world’s most esteemed luxury watch brands.
